“If you start living for the smallest reasons,
that’s when you know you’re really living.
The smell of rain after a thunderstorm,
the shades of pavements when it’s autumn,
the mediocre midnights and the color of the sunsets,
the warmth of oven when baking Christmas cookies,
the thickness of paper when flipping through magazine pages,
the smell of new books and new clothes and new things.
When you start looking at things,
really really looking,
you’ll start living.
Because then you’ll understand how it is to really be a human…
in this world full of people.”

May we recognize the treasure within the little things.
Wishing you a beautiful day.

Living for the smallest reason! True bliss and enjoyment! ❤️

Especially true now. We take so much for granted until we are forced not to! A beautiful and relevant poem… 🙂

It is true we can expect better poetry and literature when people emerge from their ‘lock down’. I was out to a nurses appointment today, (Legs) and the rain felt like it did when I was a kid. One forgets the finer things in life.

So true… painfully true. Life only happens when we are there to pay attention, otherwise is something else happening but not truly life. Thank you for this 🙏

How true “Life only happens when we are there to pay attention,…”
Our quality of life is hidden in awareness – the ability to be truly present and fully grateful.
Thank you for this ❤️
