You Are Stronger Than This Moment [a poem]

There are hours when the present gathers its shadow,
when the day feels heavy as a sky before rain
and the heart moves carefully beneath its weight.

In such moments the mind wanders through mist,
seeking a clear horizon
where the road bends out of sight
and the distance grows quiet and uncertain.

Yet no storm claims the sky forever.
Even the darkest clouds
are travelers of the wind,
arriving with thunder for a season
and departing with the returning light.

The Breath That Builds Tomorrow [a poem]

Do not seek beginnings in the clamor of change.
They are born in stillnessβ€”
in the breath drawn softly after sorrow,
in the fragile hush between what has fallen away
and what has yet to unfold.

Each breath is a vow renewed with life.
It steadies what wavers,
gathers what has been scattered,
and carries the heart, almost imperceptibly,
toward becoming.
